Nicholas Escasany is a Concept Artist and Creature Designer born and raised in the ghetto by the sea- Venice Beach, California. While being babysat by a sleeping uncle, a young Nick discovered horror and fantasy films on the boob tube – and fell in love with the world of weird. Countless sketchpads, napkins, and tablecloths fell prey to Nick’s insatiable appetite for drawing. It wasn’t until attending Otis College of Art and Design that Nick realized his passion for concept art could be pursued as a career. After graduating, he freelanced in the entertainment industry for numerous film and game projects. Nick is currently working as a full-time Sketch artist and Digital Illustrator at BLT & Associates in Hollywood. Though seeing the light of day is a rare occurrence for Nick, when it happens, you can follow the sounds of funky tunes to the beach where you will find him playing handball with the locals.
