Cory Louise Benhatzel was born and raised in Amherst,a suburb of Buffalo in Upstate New York. At eighteen she moved cross-country to Los Angeles where she attended and graduated from Otis College of Art & Design with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She has been a tattoo artist and gallery manager for Gallery 1988 and now has returned to her hometown of Amherst after eight years in Los Angeles. She lives in a house guarded by gargoyles with her husband, Justin and her daughter-cat Moogle.
